Hitler on God, Christ, and True Christianity: Why It Is Important To America Today
Hitler: “ … the task assigned to the creatures of the earth is: to consume and pass on earth-electricity. In this connection, I am repeatedly reminded of the Gospel of St. John, which begins with the words, ‘In the beginning was the “Logos”—which is why I translate it as ‘urge.’ Quite simply, in the beginning was the urge to fulfill this purpose of earthly life. From it, the instinct of self-preservation developed logically…” [Wagener 314].
Hitler: … To begin with, this realization created what today we call the laws of ethics, which allowed the concepts of right and wrong, morality and custom, to grow out of the necessity of mutual consideration. But for all these laws, the meaning of existence remained the same. Though no man’s mind is conscious of it, it worked in him instinctively—that is the duty toward the earth, the fundamental idea. But because as such it did not rise to consciousness even among the lawgivers, a Moses—or a Confucius or the founder of Buddhist religion, or Christ or Mohammed—moved away from viewing these ethical laws as the link to the earth, and postulated a new otherworldly link for the inward experience of this Logos, this urge; they established a ‘religio,’ they set ‘God’ in the place of the unconscious urge. That is why St. John, that great Christian philosopher, continues, ‘And the Logos was with God, and the Logos was God’” [Wagener 315]. Hitler’s analysis is really quite astounding, as he basically asserts that man has conjoined his own natural will—to live, or to take it even deeper, as Hitler had done, his will ‘to be,’—with the will of God. It is almost as though, at times, Hitler is saying that God’s will is man’s will, and at the same time, man’s will is God’s will. This runs slightly contrary to orthodox Christianity, however, it is certainly more profound and tangible, as many Christians tend to be rather disillusioned by the idea that their “all-loving God” can wield such immense hatred, destruction, misery, and wrath upon His own divine Creation.
In fact, according to author Thomas Cahill, in his book The Gifts of the Jews, this is almost exactly how God came to be perceived by the Jewish people via Abraham and Moses. Judaism, in turn, imparted this conception of God and His very personal relationship with His creation unto Christians via Jesus Christ. However, Christ took it a step further, and claimed that until one accepts the Logos—which Hitler interpreted to have been Christ’s complete moral code and all of His teachings, which rejected materialistic Judaism, in their purity without the influence of the ‘Churches,’—as opposed to the ‘material gifts’ bestowed by God upon humanity. If one chooses the latter, one will never come to know God, and hence, that person will die godless.
What dying without ever having known God means we cannot know for sure, but it could mean, as most churches claim, that we go to a spiritual place of torment called Hell, or it could mean that we will have died never having done anything for our fellow man, which would have contributed to God Himself by endowing His creation with a gift, or gifts, from us. Christ claimed that one of the single most important things a person could do for Him was to give something to—or to do something for—your fellow man. Ultimately, this teaching was clearly an endorsement of socialism, though, Jesus may not have been aware that what He was ushering in would later be called socialism.
This is most certainly not to be confused with Marxist-Jewish socialism, a.k.a. Communism, nor should it be confused with capitalist-socialism, as practiced in the U.S. and E.U. today. Giving clothes to the poor is really a nice and wonderful thing to do, and welfare is fine and dandy, if you want people to continue to lull in impoverished despair, but this hardly qualifies as the true socialism that was divinely inspired by Christ Himself.
Hitler’s National Socialism was much more in line with Christ’s doctrine, and the tears of joy, the love the people overwhelmingly had for their leader and fellow man, the giving, the smiling, the sharing, the return to good, wholesome family life, and the resurrection of the decaying churches, which by the way had seen their attendance plummet to an all-time low under the Weimar regime, were all the marked signs of Christianity in practice. People can talk about being Christian and following Christ’s example until they’re blue in the face, but are they really living it? I would say the clear majority are probably not. In America today, for example, many American Christians are mean, rude, uptight, miserable, depressed, unfriendly, judgmental, and completely closed-minded regarding most any subject. I know this from personal experience, as well as from friends’ and relatives’ experiences with these alleged ‘Christians.’
Hitler: “… From that time on, then, mankind lived with two simultaneous experiences. One is the unconscious, but completely real, obligation to the natural body, which we call earth, with which we are inseparably connected, and of which we are infinitesimal particles with a very particular purpose. The other is a link with a godhead, which has become an article of faith. It is, in fact, an unreal entity [intangible], an idea as impossible for us to grasp as the natural obligation.” Notice how Hitler compares humanity’s natural existence to the incomprehensibility of humanity’s spiritual existence. He believed both to be inexplicable, thus he did not wholly subscribe to Darwinian thought, as so many attempt to suppose. He was far ahead of his time and thought much like Christians of today think; that micro-evolution and Christianity can coexist with no problems at all. Hitler seems to have subscribed to Darwin’s theory of natural selection, but that is the extent of it.
Hitler: “… Of course it is not appropriate for mankind to act like animals. We cannot simply eliminate what is sick and weak, abandoning it as wild animals do, killing it as the bees do with their drones. Whatever has entered human society must somehow be placed in the service of this society and cared for. But Providence has allowed us to find the means to prevent—or at least to limit—the sickly and the weak from entering human society in the first place. Now that we know the laws of heredity, it is possible to a large extent to prevent unhealthy and severely handicapped beings from coming into the world. I have studied with great interest the laws of many American states concerning prevention of reproduction… It only exhorts us to the greatest possible conscientiousness. When I think of all the means that have been invented and constantly used to prevent conception or even to kill or abort the beginnings of life, it seems to me the ultimate in hypocrisy and inner untruth if these same people—and it is them, in the main—call the sterilization of those who are severely handicapped physically and morally and of those who are genuinely criminal a sin against God. I despise this sanctimoniousness in the world, as I despise all those who carry it in their faces and on their lips” [Wagener 145].
I think of the mass murder of five little innocent children at the hands of their own sickly handicapped mother, Andrea Yates, when I read this passage. The rabid pedophilia, criminality, rape, murder, and overall family abuse and sickness all throughout America today also comes to mind.
Hitler’s ‘Christian sentimentality’ usually held sway over the unsentimentalities of his many raucous-minded subordinates, like Bormann, many of whom wanted to simply annihilate all of the sickly and weak members of German society. Hitler was the one who repeatedly stayed up long hours into the night going over Jewish clemency exemptions, and as a matter of fact, Martin Bormann oftentimes made sure a huge number of them never even came to his attention. This is terrible, and I think that it is important that I raise this point, because so many people believe Hitler to have been the ‘mastermind’ of all the anti-Christian and anti-human activity that went on during the Third Reich. Göring, on the other hand, allegedly stated, “I will decide who is a Jew!” and he saw to it that hundreds—or possibly thousands—of Jews and part-Jews were exempted from internment and allowed to serve in Hitler’s Christian Wehrmacht [Rigg, Hitler’s Jewish Soldiers, 21].
According to Rigg, during the war, Bormann served as the “Führer’s gatekeeper” and controlled by and large, who was even allowed to see Hitler. He also undoubtedly controlled the information that Hitler came into contact with [Rigg 222]. Göring had stated, during the Nuremberg trial, “If I had my say in it, I hope he is frying in Hell, but I don’t know,” when he was asked whether or not Bormann might still be alive [Rigg 222]. Fortunately, Bormann had been killed when a tank was bombed next to him during his escape attempt. That Bormann was an absolute lying and treacherous rat cannot be denied. He took the aerial photographs of the severely devastated areas, provided by Göbbels, and immediately stashed them away in a file cabinet never showing them to Hitler, or even informing him of their existence [Von Lang, The Secretary 303-04]. Thus, Hitler never even saw, or heard about, much of the damage inflicted upon German soil. This may be why he remained more positive—even in light of inevitable defeat known to all the others—than did his generals, unto the last futile weeks of the war.
Bormann lied about Hoffmann’s health, trying in vain to get him banned from visiting Hitler at the Wolfsschanze, because Hoffmann oftentimes greatly influenced Hitler on many issues. He also informed Hitler of Bormann’s raucous and uncouth orders and behavior. Thankfully, Hoffmann was vindicated even though an order straight from Hitler’s headquarters—Bormann’s orders, not Hitler’s—demanded that he be quarantined at once. Hoffmann’s family medical certificate saved him on this occasion. At the time, Hitler did not even know that this had gone on behind his back [Secretary 304-05]. Bormann was the man who ordered, from Führer’s headquarters, that the camps were far too lenient, and that deserters were being treated far too well [Secretary 299]. He ordered abusive and drastic measures be taken against laborers and deserters and Hitler never even knew that these orders were being issued. Naturally, when people like Vice-Admiral Canaris reported horrific incidents directly to Hitler personally, Hitler ordered the immediate halt of such activities [Hitler’s War 456]. Bormann’s raucous orders that were carried out without Hitler’s knowledge caused at least thousands to needlessly perish in the last weeks of the war [Secretary 313].
Contrary to the radical, hateful, anti-Semitic, anti-Christian Bormann, Hitler was a great relief. He said, “People who feel free of guilt and who are intellectually and culturally superior do not hate. Hatred is always connected with inferiority complexes. … Freud [Jewish] would say that their arrogant manner gives further proof that such complexes really are present” [Wagener 229] [emphasis original]. Bormann undeniably, as spelled out by Von Lang in The Secretary, had a complex.
Hitler to Schemm quoted in Wagener 277 [Schemm was a German Hitler Youth leader]: “I’m very glad, Herr Hitler, to hear you say this. There’s such a lot of nonsense talked about blond men, about the Nordic race, about the cult of Wotan [Odin] and the spirit of the Edda, as if no one else on the globe had any right to exist, or at best, to exist only in a second-class position, as subhuman [untermensch] creatures. These idiotic windbags have no idea what harm their spouting causes. For all they do is arouse inferiority complexes and hatred in those who don’t happen to be lucky enough to be blond, and so they divide the German Volk into two racial halves: the Germanic and the non-Germanic people.”
This is something that white supremacists and neo-Nazi thugs have got to understand. They are, as described by Colin Jordan in National Socialism: Vanguard of the Future, “… in their virtually total ignorance of what National Socialism really is, have not the slightest perception of, or respect for, the discipline, order and authority central to it, and who are simply excited to associate with it because of the enemy’s distorted image of it as something violently notorious, and who accordingly supply the enemy with living proof of validity of their distortion. These latter are the dismal morons whose real cause is no more than crude hooliganism plentifully embellished with Swastikas and Iron Crosses and a flourish of Hitler salutes at football matches. At this centenary let it be confirmed that there is no room in our ranks for such human rubbish” [36]. I could not have put it better myself, though, I would render these people “trash,” as opposed to “rubbish.” There simply is nothing lower, in my opinion, on the social stratum. It is equitable to those pieces of human debris who choose Christianity as their front for murder by contorting the doctrine to their own hate-filled and poisonous agenda.
“I have expressly and repeatedly forbidden this sort of thing! Hitler interrupted flaring up. All the rubbish about the Thing places, the solstice festivals, the Midgard snake, and all the rest of the rubbish they dredge up from German prehistory! Then they read Nietzsche with 15-year-old-boys and, using incomprehensible quotations, paint a picture of the superman, exhorting the boys: ‘That is you—or that is what you are to become.’ … ‘We Germans in particular,’ he continued, ‘must avoid anything that works to create even more divisiveness. We already have the limes, with all its effects in the religious, political, and ideological spheres. If we go on to tell people that they are different, then we will not be working to unify all Germans…’ [277][emphasis original].”
Hitler on Christmas: “I have nothing against celebrating Christmas. I even give high marks to the clever thinking of the Roman Church fathers, who did not abolish the most solemn holiday of the Nordic world, the day when the sun is at its lowest point and from that moment on begins to rise on the horizon.” The Church fathers probably deliberately chose this day because Christ’s death signified the lowest point in the history of man, however, because the sun begins to rise again on this day, so too was Christ resurrected to new life through His followers. Hitler certainly points out an intriguing thought in this respect, and most average people would not even trouble themselves with acknowledging this coincidence. “But no one can say with certainty that Christ was born on this particular day. At least, there is no mention in the Bible of when and if He celebrated His birthday. And it is certain that He knew nothing of this Christmas holiday” [Wagener 278].
What is of most interest to us in this passage is the idea that Hitler is basically telling us that Christmas is a European conception of the celebration of the life and death of Jesus Christ. It may be a specifically Nordic-Germanic celebration, which is why it is so important that people of European descent respect and continue to celebrate this institutionalized holiday of their immensely creative and insightful ancestors. Hitler never would have allowed certain political and social elements to destroy Christianity in his country, and America should not allow for the open attack and destruction of their Christianity. It is part of who we are and has been for a very long time.
Hitler: “Now, since the more highly developed men quickly set themselves up to be ‘masters,’ ‘superiors’ over the others, they became, on the one hand, as I mentioned, traitors to their real mission, turning others into their work slaves [sounds like American business owners today, especially when they hire illegal ‘slaves’ for ‘slave wages,’ because they are too greed-ridden to pay American citizens], rather as if the drones were to rule over the worker bees [clearly, Hitler compares this unnatural situation to nature, in order to deliberately express its inherent ‘unnaturalness’]. On the other hand, they exploited the ‘religio,’ [in other words, Christ’s, as well as Mohammed’s, Confucius’, Moses’, and Buddha’s, among others, teachings] which also arouse out of common inner experience, to present their more exalted position in relation to their fellowmen as divinely ordained, to let it enter man’s God-given consciousness as an inevitable condition” [Wagener 315].
Hitler really despised the class of priestly men who had interjected themselves between God and man. He felt that these people were some of the worst of all, as they not only exploited people financially, but more disturbingly, morally and spiritually. Take Christianity for instance. Christ’s mission was to place Himself between God and men, so that men could come freely to God through Him via His sacrifice. For some reason, probably motivated by greed, as religion could serve as a new means to exploit the common folk, the priest class inserted itself into Christ’s place and by claiming to have the ability to speak to God as no one else could, replaced Christ as the intermediary to God. I do not know about you, but I find this to be one of the single greatest acts of blaspheme in all of history. Hitler certainly believed this to be so, and he did not always refrain from letting his feelings of anger towards these bigots come to the surface.
This is not to say that many priests throughout history, such as Calvin, Luther, and others, have not done great things for God. But, priests and religious authorities should not act as though they are the only ones who can speak to God. Their job is to help people interpret the writings of the Bible and teachings of Christ, not to influence their interpretations or hinder their growth by telling them how and what to think. They should never ‘play God.’
Hitler: “In vain the prophets preached, in vain Christ came and taught: ‘All men are equal in the sight of God. Whoever possesses more in the way of worldly goods has greater responsibilities toward his fellowman. No one is what he is on his own merits [this is so true, especially as we see more and more of these ‘self-made’ businessmen rise to the top via exploitation, outsourcing, deceit, theft, malice, greed, price-fixing, fraud, monopolizing, declaring bankruptcy only to reopen under a new name, scandal, embezzling, money-laundering, tax evasion, etc.] but only through the grace of God! Christ was intent on returning religion to the natural urge, the Logos, the true obligation. But what developed in the name of Christianity was a perversion of the Christian idea, its misrepresentation to the point of the exact opposite, and the recurrence and renewed consolidation of the teachings of the ‘superiors,’ the ‘masters.’ Put in political terms, it was ‘reactionary.’”
Of course, not all businessmen are corrupt swine, but I think the swinebags know exactly who they are. The little moms and pops and hard-working men and women in this country are not counted among these swindlers.
“Since that time, we have seen a constant shifting back and forth between reaction and the true teaching of Christ, between the will of the upper classes to subjugate and the revolt of the masses [I sense this can be seen in America today], which is aroused and constantly replenished by an inkling that is perhaps only intuitive but may possibly also arise from an instinctive recognition of the true cosmic context.” Hitler is arguing that this inherent ‘will of defiance,’ that the masses harbor against the ‘masters,’ may well be a gift from God… the divine gift of freedom, and the desire to attain it, regardless of the costs. Americans should keep this in mind when attempting to understand what motivates ‘terrorists.’
“Immediately after the death of Christ, whom the reactionaries crucified, they set about exterminating, at least imprisoning or depriving of their rights, all those who had accepted Christ before His death. Christ’s body was removed from the tomb, to keep it from becoming an object of veneration and a tangible relic of the great new founder of a religion! In all the larger municipalities, commissions were established, special courts, to pass judgment on Christ’s followers. The Gospels report in graphic detail the expropriations, forced labor, two years or more of prison, and even death penalties that were inflicted in order to exterminate the plague of true Christianity. The Roman occupation forces aided in this effort. And a major re-education program was initiated to… force to reconvert… those who might have gravitated to Christ or were vacillating” [Wagener 315-16].
This brings to mind the unspeakable re-education programs and unlawful discrimination inflicted upon: 1) the members of the Hitler Youth [see Hitler Boys in America for a full account], 2) the entire nation of Germany and much of Europe, 3) the Europeans and Americans via ‘Holocaust’ indoctrination in all public schools, 4) the ‘Holocaust reductionists’ and revisionists who have been unconstitutionally tried and convicted for conducting research on a politicized topic, 5) Christians for their inherent ’evil’ and ’hatred’ wielded against Jewry, 6) the peoples’ collective memory of one of the single greatest Christians and Western leaders of all time, Adolf Hitler.
I would like to close with the following: The war on Christmas, the Menorahs seen in the Whitehouse, the present-day Iraq Mass Murder Debacle for Israel, the influx of illegal ‘slave laborers’ for greed-ridden capitalists in America, the dumbing-down and liberalization of America’s public school system… wake up people! This is not simply coincidence. America is descending into Marxist-Communist-Bolshevist totalitarian-style authoritarianism, as we are seeing fewer and fewer Americans showing up at the polls, fewer Americans working, fewer Americans owning homes, African members of America doing worse than they have since the days of slavery… this is insane!
Our President, if he can even be called that, since over 79,000,000 Americans did not even vote in the last election, is allowing illegal slave labor to flood into this country and will not listen to the American voters with regards to immigration, the Iraq Mass Murder Debacle, or the soon-to-come Iranian Mass Murder Debacle. Is it not obvious that the neo-Con swinebags pushing for war are almost all Jewish? Krauthammer, Feinstein, Savage, Boxer, Kristol, Wolfowitz, Specter… this is why a war with Iran will be a war waged for Israel—just as the Iraq War is still being waged for Israel—and has not the slightest thing to do with the well-being and interests of the American people. We need jobs, not another mass murder campaign! Where is our true Christian leader who could convince the American people to follow him, not by force or deception, but by caring about us and genuinely putting our interests first? Where is our Christian leader? Where is our Adolf Hitler?
If Jews want to continue to receive earnest forgiveness, and continue to receive what I deem undeserved forgiveness, then they too must learn to forgive. And, I believe wholeheartedly, that the Jewish people owe just as much an apology to America and Germany, and especially Hitler, as these latter owe to them. If they would just learn to forgive and apologize for their shortcomings, then perhaps, so many people would not dislike them. They tend to be the true harbingers of hatred throughout history, and it is time they learn from their experiences.
